I’m Aslyn—a West Michigan photographer who loves genuine connection, thoughtful details, and finding beauty in moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed.
I’m drawn to adventure, nature, honest interactions, and photographs that feel lived-in rather than perfectly arranged. Outside of photography, I love wandering farmers markets, exploring beautiful places, and enjoying good food made by people I love.
Our life is rarely calm, often messy, and more beautiful than I know how to explain.
I’m a mom of three, ranging from 13 to 2, so I’m comfortable with every stage—from busy toddlers to independent teenagers. I know family life can be loud, unpredictable, and beautifully imperfect, and I’ll embrace the chaos while gently guiding genuine moments and looking for those glimmers of pure authenticity.
I first fell in love with photography in high school after seeing Annie Leibovitz’s work during an art trip to the Detroit Institute of Arts. That experience changed the way I saw photographs—as more than beautiful images, but as a way to preserve personality, emotion, and connection. I picked up a camera soon after and haven’t looked back.
